Hello ,
"A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." John A. Shedd
Then Jesus came up and said to them,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go[aa] and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Leaving the
"harbors" of safety, personal comfort, and self distrust in order to go and share the love of Jesus with others can feel pretty challenging at times.
What will people say?
How will they view us?
What if they aren't receptive to the love of Christ when we share it?
If you're anything like
me, you might have a hundred different "reasons" to stay comfortably in the "harbors."
These are matters of conviction and prayer.
If God has
convicted us that we need to move forward, He won't leave us to go alone. He is with us, and will continue to lead us in what He called us to do.
Have a great day and God bless!
