Hello ,
Over the years, I’ve heard so many traumatic stories of loss, hurt, or devastation from people who wonder if they can ever overcome the struggles that they have
been through.
I've listened to some torn and tattered stories of trauma that were so heart-breaking, that I had a difficult time keeping my composure while they were relaying it to me.
I’ve witnessed, and even experienced traumatic events and situations in my own life that have caused me to wonder why all of it can be so incredibly
hard.
None of us can change the things that we have experienced or been through, but we CAN choose how we will respond.
We’re not exempt from taking the responsibility of allowing God to lead and direct our paths, to seek understanding, and to allow the possibility of forgiveness in
our own hearts.
"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through
Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation..." 2 Corinthians 5:18
The holidays are filled with so many good things, but for some; these yearly, festive blocks of time are exhausting and painful.
Let’s be kind to each other, out there. We never know what someone else may be going through
Have a great day and God bless!
