Hello ,
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Romans 12:12
I find it so difficult to be patient! It's one of the areas in life that I truly struggle with, because I want everything to happen NOW.
I don't want to wait, I don't to be put on hold, and I don't want to be told to "come back tomorrow."
The above verse doesn't tell us to "be patient during inconvenience." It tells us to be patient in tribulation.
But here's the question: If I can't be patient during a mere inconvenience, how will I ever be patient during tribulation?
Is it possible that learning patience through constant inconveniences in this life actually helps to prepare me for being patient during tribulation?
Romans chapter alludes to the idea that struggle and challenge increases endurance, which (in turn) produces good things in our lives...including a better character for us.
God knows what we are made of, and there are times when He doesn't merely lift the struggle, but gives us the strength to wade through it (despite the challenge).
"Lord, help me to trust you more, and guide me in recognizing that You are the giver of patience through your Holy Spirit. Amen!"
Have a great day and God bless!
