Hello ,
Today, my wife Roberta and I will be flying from our home in North Dakota, to the state of New York where I am scheduled to speak on Friday evening at the school where her and I both graduated (40 years ago).
I am always amazed at the technology that exists that can take a plane full of people into the sky, and deliver them to a destination hundreds (if not thousands) of miles away. It (almost always) makes me think of the following text:
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel
12:4
What amazes me about this passage from the book of Daniel is the idea that when it was written, people were running to and fro the way they had always done.
In fact, for centuries afterwards they continued to run to and fro as they always had.
Not anymore!

and I will board 2 flights out of Fargo, ND in the early morning hours, and we'll be able to have lunch together in Syracuse, NY after we collect our luggage and get our rental car.
This information still amazes me, because it means that we are living in a time that the prophets told us about. It's happening,
and every day we're getting closer and closer to the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ that the book of Daniel told us about in chapter 2.
What a blessing to remember that this life isn't all that there is!
