Hello ,

Have you ever wanted something so badly, and felt like you should have it, that you prayed and asked God to give it to you...only to have Him tell you "No?"

If you can relate to this, I want to share a verse of scripture with you today.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.

Psalm 84:11

God isn't in the business of being arbitrary in answering the prayers of those who seek Him. When we lock in with Him, and ask for something that isn't in our best eternal interest, sometimes God gives us an answer that we wouldn't give to ourselves. 

Over the years, I've had people tell me, "I prayed about this, and God didn't answer me." In my spiritual journey, I've come to understand that "No" is a legitimate answer. 

It may not be what we always think we want to have for an answer, but if we continue to leave our wishes in God's capable hands, we can rest in the knowledge that He will give us the desires of our hearts.
