Hello ,
Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot
desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. James 3:3-5
Little things make a difference...for good or for evil. The scriptures put this all into perspective when they lay out the
power of the the words that we choose to say, and just how potent they can be in someone's life.
I have never been sorry for words that I chose not to say in anger, but there have been plenty of times when I have
regretted saying things that I shouldn't have. I personally struggle with saying things in the "heat of the moment" that I am sorry for later. God is helping me to have victory over that, but I still blow it on a fairly regular basis.
Fact is, we all need His help to be all that He designed us to be. Little words can mean a great deal (for good or evil), and we all need God's help to assist us in choosing them correctly.
Have a great day and God bless!
