Hello ,
In his book, What God Has To Say About Our Bodies, Sam Allberry shares the following:
Certain things change when you turn forty:
• The world starts becoming too loud.
• You get excited about going to bed.
• You still get badly hurt, but now you don't have a good story for it.
Now, I don't know that I can put an exact number on it, but I have noticed that the older that I get, the more challenged I am in some of the physical areas of my life. Some things that used to be ordinary in my world, now seem to take extraordinary effort.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven..." Ecclesiastes 3:1
A thorough reading of the third chapter of Ecclesiastes has real value. Life has so many twists and turns, and we never know when it may end, or how things might change.
We're challenged through the scriptures to rely in a power greater than ourselves through every phase of life, and through every trial that we may experience. There is coming a day when (investing in those things now), we shall see eternal dividends.
Have a great day and God bless!
