Hello ,
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phillipians 4:19
That word "need" in today's verse is such a curious word.
Human beings often confuse it for the word "want," but in its original form, it speaks clearly of our Heavenly Father supplying the necessities of life for each of us.
It doesn't promise us the latest vehicle.
It doesn't assume the latest trends in fashion.
It doesn't give us the assurance of wealth, or riches.
It does however, promise us that all of our needs will be taken care of by a Creator Who knows just how to provide what is needed most...when it is needed.
Trusting in someone for that can be difficult at times, but as our hearts begin to beat in synch with His own, we can be changed and challenged to trust Him more each moment.
It is often as we look into the "rearview mirror" of our existence that we recognize that He has been there every step of the way...even on the days when it didn't feel like it.
