Hello ,
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27
When is the last time you felt totally peaceful? Maybe you're living there right now.
If so, that's wonderful.
If not, is it possible that the above verse needs to be focused on a while longer?
I don't create my own peace. Life is too unstable, too uncertain, much too challenging for me to be peaceful about it all.
However, if Jesus brings the peace to my heart, it has happened because of a divine Source (other than myself), working in my heart and life.
That's a powerful thought, and this verse in John 14:27 brings it to a compelling light.
What area of your life needs more peace? Go to Jesus for it...He has what we need.
