Hello ,
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3
Yesterday, my wife got a brand new wheelchair. It’s sleek, it’s fast, it has all the latest technology involved in it’s construction...but it’s still a wheelchair. As wonderful as it is to own this sleek, new machine; she would still rather just be able to ambulate / walk on her own.
She’s blessed to have it, but there’s coming a day when she won’t need it anymore.
This passage in John 14 gives us more than mere information. It tells us that we have a friend who is working on her future; a future without the need for these kinds of things.
She looks forward to that.
Hope keeps her moving in eternal directions.
Let’s keep looking upward.
Have a great day, and God bless!
