Hello ,
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9
Being a peacemaker means that we can be someone who helps to resolve conflict that formerly took place in the lives of people around us. It means that we don't join in on the conflict, but choose to rise above it (through God's grace).
"For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. And he came and preached peace to you who were far
off and peace to those who were near"
(Ephesians 2:14–17)
By committing to be peacemakers, we are grabbing onto Christ's ministry of reconciliation, and leading by His example. What a blessing to claim the promise of His peace in our lives!
Have a great day and God bless!
