Hello ,
What happens when I receive an email from an Open Word subscriber?
I've received this question over the years, and I thought I'd share what happens when someone from the Open Word subscriber family contacts me.
1. I personally read every email that I receive. I don't relegate this activity to anyone else, and sometimes I read through multiple emails every day. I feel that it's a privilege to have someone reach out to me, and I enjoy receiving the correspondence.
2. I usually try to answer the email, right after I've read it. I'm not always successful, but I try to reply to every email that I receive. If it's an email that is asking a deep Bible question, it may take some time for me to reply; but I do try to reach back to the person that sent it to me.
3. If it's a prayer request, I usually pause what I'm doing and pray right then. I have a very busy life, and if I don't pause right then to pray, I have discovered that my busy-ness can sometimes get in the way of remembering to do it. I have found it helpful to stop what I'm doing, bow my head, and prayer for the request that has been sent my way. I welcome prayer requests, and count it a privilege to lift those
up.
, I want you to know that you are an important member of The Open Word subscriber family.
We currently have hundreds and hundreds of Open Word family members, but I always try to do what I can to read through the messages that I receive. God has given me the privilege of sharing spiritual thoughts with you every day. I take that privilege very seriously.
Have a great day and God bless!
