disapointed: to be sad or displeased because someone or something has failed to fulfill one's expectations.
When I was growing up, I had one or two people tell me that God was disappointed in me.
As I grew into an adult, and deeply thought about that concept, it occurred to me that God has no illusions about who or what I am as a person. Without His example, guidance, help, and heart change, I am destined to be a lost person without hope.
God knows that I can't ever be what I am supposed to be, without His divine help.
If you've been beating yourself up about all the ways that you've blown it in your life, remember...without God, none of us can be what we were designed to be.
