Hello ,
The world will tell us (daily), what we have to be in order to measure up, to fit in, or to feel good about ourselves. If we listen to this whisperings, we can become emotionally drained, mentally exhausted, and spiritually mired in the muck of discouragement. God has a better plan!
I can sometimes get discouraged, and spiritually disoriented. In the past, I have told myself that I have to be this, or that, or something else. The older that I get though, the more that I realize, that all I really have to be...is His. God can work in me to will and to do His good pleasure. He knows how, and He's good at His job.
Let me encourage you to listen to this song that stumbled across over the weekend. It aptly summed up what I have felt a number of times. Here it is.
