Comfort and Christianity often don't go in the same sentence. In fact, if our brand of Christianity is extremely comfortable, that's usually an indication that something is horribly wrong. We can certainly be contented, but being very comfortable can often lull us into a place where we shouldn't stay.
Question to ask yourself: Am I comfortable? An honest, searching assessment can help us to focus on how deeply we are connected.
