Hello ,

Johnny Carson, former host of NBC's The Tonight Show, once offered this cynical take on Thanksgiving: 

"Thanksgiving is an emotional holiday. People travel thousands of miles to be with people they only see once a year, and then discover once a year is way too often."

I don't agree with Mr. Carson.  I am SO incredibly thankful for the family that I have, and we have so much to be thankful for.  How about you?  Is Thanksgiving really a time of reflection, family, and praising God in your household?  

Lord, help us to be truly thankful for all the blessings that You have given to us. Amen!
