Hello ,
"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice." Phillipians 4:4
re·joice
rəˈjois/
verb
feel or show great joy or delight.
"he rejoiced when he saw his friend alive"
synonyms: happiness, pleasure, joy, gladness, delight, elation, jubilation, exuberance, exultation, celebration, revelry,
merrymaking
The author of the verse above that's found in Phillipians 4:4 is in prison as he writes it. Obviously, his circumstances are NOT his reason for writing this challenge to rejoice in the Lord...always.
Is it possible, that the Apostle wasn't talking so much about his circumstances, and more about Who was always with him through his circumstances?
Please pause and reflect on this today. Do you rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS...or only when things seem to be going well? Tough question. Not easy to answer...especially when we're struggling.
Lord, help me to trust You in ways that allow me to REJOICE...even when it doesn't seem like I have
anything to rejoice about. In Jesus name, amen!
Have a great day and God bless!
