Hello ,
In the compelling video above, you will see a blind person ALMOST being hit by a runaway sedan that barreling down the sidewalk. Two spiritual applications immediately jumped to my mind as I watched this video clip that has no sound:
1. The person with the seeing-eye dog did not realize that the
vehicle was heading in their direction. (But notice, even the dog knew SOMETHING was wrong.)
2. The person behind them who DID see what was happening was able to help the person who couldn't see. to get out of the way.
What a spiritual lesson!
What could have happened had the individual who was walking behind this person not been there? The video tells us in three different angles just how terrible it could have
been.
We too can be active by-standers in other people's lives. We need to take an interest in them, and help them to make good decisions. What other spiritual lessons could we derive from watching this video clip today? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
