Hello  ,

A story is told of a warehouse that had a suspicious box that had been left unopened on the loading dock.  A decal on the outside said, "Danger - Do Not Open," and so everyone left it alone.   The employee that came to work on the "graveyard" shift eyed the box all night, and felt a strange sense of foreboding and dread every time he looked at the box.  He couldn't wait for it to be gone.

The next day, the quality assurance manager donned gloves, a mask, and a hazardous waste material suit.  He then took the small box into a secure area to open it.

Do you want to know what he found in the box?

When he opened it, there inside was...

...a thousand decals that said "Danger - Do Not Open."

I had to chuckle when I read this story to my family during our worship time the other night.  Can we apply a spiritual application to it?  I believe we can!  Ask yourself; how many times can you remember, when you have jumped to a conclusion and become uneasy about something that later turned out to be of very small importance...or perhaps even nothing at all?  I know I have been guilty of this.

Does God want us to live like this?

We are told that, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."  1 John 4:18

God wants us to face each new day with a heart that relies on Him for our needs.  He is more than capable of helping us...even when we are afraid.

Have a great day and God bless!
