Have you ever gotten angry with someone that you work with only to have to go back at a later date and apologize? Fact is, we can't take back the words that we have spoken once they leave our mouths, and words that are spoken in anger are something that we need to pray about. People can exasperate us, but God calls to higher ground when we choose to respond.
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14
The above verse is a legitimate
prayer that we call can breathe when someone at work (or in the family circle) pushes our "buttons."
