Hello ,

This July, my wife and I will get on a large plane and fly more than 1600 miles to see my mother who will be turning 90.  We're now in the planning stages of this trip.

When I'm about to embark on a journey like this, my mind travels to a passage of scripture:

But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end.  Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Daniel 12:4

Until just less than 200 hundred years ago, people were "running to and fro" the way they always had been; they were walking or riding on a beast of burden.  To actually think that we could travel 1600 miles in mere hours is an amazing thing.

I believe that we are living in a time like no other.  I believe that Jesus is coming back very soon.  He promised it, and if His word is true (and I believe that it is),  I can't help but believe that it's not far away.
