I have to admit, that with Mr. Carlin's obvious distaste for Christians when he was alive, and with his penchant for foul language I almost didn't post the above quote.  The brutal honesty of it however, caused me to stop and think about where we humans often "live" in our daily lives.  

We may not call someone an idiot, or a moron, but how often do we compare someone to our way of doing or seeing things...and accuse them of not being as competent as we are?

Our claims of Christianity are not evident merely by the amount of church attendance that we rack up, or by the occasional nice deed that we bestow on someone "less fortunate" than us.  It is found in the daily grind of living...pure and simple.

Lord, help me to be the kind of person that You want me to be today...and everyday.
