Hello ,

"Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!'  Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."  Luke 15:8-10

I love the way Jesus tells stories!  He is so clear that even someone like me can understand it.  Jesus speaks about a coin that has been lost.  Now, the coin doesn't KNOW it's lost...but it still is. The WOMAN knows that the coin is lost...but the coin doesn't.

The woman keeps on looking anyway!

There are people all around us...everyday, that are lost and they don't even recognize it.  The Bible is clear that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.  In the final analysis then, would it be fair to say that our job here on planet earth is to bring someone in contact with Jesus so that they may be "found?"

Lord, help me to recognize that You alone have the ability to save the lost.  Help me to be a good representative for You with everyone that I meet.  In Jesus name, amen!
