Hello ,

Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.  Psalm 27:14

Lord, give me patience...and hurry up about it!  

Everything doesn't always go as planned, even on our best days.  Vehicles break down, the faucet leaks, and the usual commute seems extra long.

Talking about patience is the easy part...having it is something entirely different.  Have you ever been there?  One day in particular last year...especially seemed to begin like that.  No matter what I tried, technology just didn't seem to be on my side.  I finally just walked away and told myself, "These things are going to have to wait...there's nothing more that I can do in my own strength."  

All we can do...is all we can do!

As simple an equation as this might seem to be, I've had moments when that was a tough understanding to arrive at.  There had to be SOMETHING more that could be done by me...something!  

To wait upon the Lord is a legitimate option.  

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Romans 12:12

How are things in your world today?  Is there something that you are struggling with that seems like it might consume all of your thoughts?  If so, join the club...we're all human aren't we?  

God is STILL on His throne, and when we allow Him to be the God of our lives (even the messy parts), He can bring about some things that we never dreamed of.  Waiting is the hard part, but He can even help us with that too!

Wait upon the Lord today.  Let Him be God.  You don't have to be.
