Hello ,

The comedian Cathy Ladman expresses a view that's becoming more and more common: "All religions are the same: religion is basically guilt with different holidays."

I was saddened when I read this, but not surprised.  Unfortunately, religion (and for our purposes, Christianity)  has sometimes become a negative force in people's lives.  It doesn't happen in a vacuum, but when people fail to recognize the WHY of religion.  True spirituality, true Christianity should actually live up to the mandates of scripture in the way it behaves itself.

"But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Against such there is no law."  Galatians 5:22-23

When becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, if we actually "live up" to those biblical standards, Christianity becomes more than a list of "do's and don'ts."  It becomes a life-altering way to live in love and peace with one another.

Have a great day and God bless!
