Hello ,

She's the first one to meet me every morning when I get up.  She's never late, she's always right there to say "good morning" to me.  Her name is Tessie, and although she's my daughter Madeleine's beagle, I think she's pretty special.  When I stumble out to the dining room in our home (I'm not a morning person), she is always waiting to see me.  

Most often she wants to climb on my lap as I wake up.  I like being greeted by a creature that actually wants to spend time with me first thing in the morning.  I'm not always terrific company, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to say "good morning" to me.  I could set a clock by her faithfulness.

Although there is certainly NO comparison in importance between human beings and dogs, I do know this...God wants us to want to spend time with Him.  Jesus is an example for us to follow.  He wanted and needed to spend time with His Heavenly Father.  It was not a burden for Him to approach His Father and share his burdens, needs, desires, and struggles.  God wants time with us too!

Have you made a habit of spending time alone with God on a regular basis.  

God wants to hear from us.
