Hello ,

Comedian Bill Maher has made a career of attacking Christians. In his film Religulous, Maher offered up this complaint of religion in general and Christianity in particular:

The plain fact is, religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge in having key decisions made by religious people, by irrationalists, by those who would steer the ship of state not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken.

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God...." Psalm 14:1

I don't personally know Bill Maher.  He's most likely much more brilliant than I am (or will probably ever be, for that matter).  He could probably run intellectual circles around me. I possess one thing however, that he cannot effectively dispose of...my experience with my God. The personal relationship that I have enjoyed with my Creator that has changed my life.

This is the one thing that no one can ever take away from me.

I believe that we make a huge mistake when we attempt to convince those who will not be convinced.  We can pray for them (and we should), but we should never attempt to try and legitimize our beliefs in their eyes.  Our lives will speak louder than any verbal argument that we can mount against their disbelief in a Heavenly Creator.

Lord, help me to witness of You with my life.  In Jesus name, amen!

Have a great day and God bless!
