A short while ago I sent out a special prayer request from a mother (Angela) who wanted prayer for her Son Matthew who was struggling with addiction and was making a decision on whether or not to go into rehab. I
want to share a recent update with you from Angela:
Good Morning!
Update on my son. His dad and I spent the day with him at the inpt. Facilty. He admitted he tried to kill himself. He hit bottom hard. While I was there I was moved by the Holy Spirit to lay hands and pray with all the broken Pts. Not my doing. God spoke to me clearly.
One by one the kids came to ask me to pray with them. Some had never prayed. Some have no support or love. All ask the sane question. Why would Jesus love me? I'm trash I have destroyed so many lives. I told them it's very Simple. God is love! He forgives us we need to forgive ourselves. Jesus wants us to be his best friend. He listens to knee mail.
2 times in my life I heard and felt the Holy Spirit move me. Yesterday was powerful. I thought my son would ask me to stop but the kids kept coming for prayer. I have a list of names. Can I send them to you so we can have power over the enemy in numbers. These kids are broken no love support.
They need Jesus and prayer!

As you can well imagine, Angela's son, and other young people that Angela prayed for
still need continued prayer. She has sent me a list of these young people, and asked that we all keep them in special prayer. I told her that I would honor that request with the other Open Word subscribers.

I don't personally know these young people, but they are children of God that He desperately wants to reach with His love. Please lift
them up whenever you think of it.
