I simply don't understand God.  There are times when I think I'm beginning to understand Him, but I feel as though I've only scratched the surface of it.  Prayer helps us to connect with God, and nudges us towards getting to know Him on a more personal level.  We will never completely understand Him (and that's O.K.), but discovering an even deeper personal connection with Him each and every day should be the goal of every person who claims Christianity.
