Hello ,
Happy Labor Day to all my USA friends. Today is considered by some to be the last "official" day of summer, even though the calendar says differently.
2014 is flying by at an amazing speed, and we're about to enter into the next season. It's back to school for two of my children, and back to a more steady "life routine" for everyone at our house.
One routine that I want to expand even more in my life is increased dedicated time spent with my Heavenly Father every day. If you're anything like me, you often struggle with finding all
the time that you need to get everything done in your daily day.
I know I do!
I've recently been convicted though, that I must ask God for the grace to increase the time that I spend in His presence...praying...studying...and listening. There is power there, and time spent with Him is never wasted.
In fact, after increasing my routine of more time with God, I have discovered that I actually have MORE time to get things accomplished. I'm not sure about exactly how that works, but I have experienced it.
How about you?
Do you have a "devotional routine" that is meaningful to you? If you do, I'd love to hear about
it. Spending time with our Heavenly Father is vitally important to our spiritual well-being. I'll be praying for you. Please keep me in your prayers as well.
Have a great day and God bless!
